What is the Offer?

            FREEDOM15 is a lucky draw…every 15 minutes, one lucky customer will win a free ticket – i.e. a full refund on the base ticket fare of his/her booking upto a maximum of Rs. 1000.

           

How do I participate in the offer?

            Customers should enter the deal code FREEDOM15 in the deal code section in order to be eligible. You can enter your dealcode on the "Review Travel & Fare details" page (right after selecting a flight) see example.

            Offer is valid only for bookings made between 8 AM and 11 PM IST every day.

            You can participate in the offer as many times as you want during the validity of the offer. You can win more than once.

           

How will I know if I won?

            Winners will receive an email from MakeMyTrip within 72 hours of their booking.

            Also, the winners’ names will be put up on the website after every 15 minutes.

           

MakeMyTrip will be posting the names of the winners via its Facebook page and Twitter channel as well.

Terms & Conditions

            This is Valid for bookings made on or after June 27, 2011.

            Only customers who enter the deal code will be eligible for participating in the offer. If the deal code is not entered exactly as FREEDOM15, our systems will not detect your participation

            Every fifteen minutes during FREEDOM15, MakeMyTrip will conduct a lucky draw for all the customers who are eligible under the offer and select one winner.

            Customer/participant acknowledges that MakeMyTrip is the sole authority of conducting the contest and customer shall not dispute the outcome of the contest. The decision of MakeMyTrip shall be final and binding.

            This offer is valid for online bookings only.

            The refundable amount is the base fare of the booking amount paid by the customer or Rs. 250 (whichever is higher)

            The maximum refundable amount under this offer is Rs. 1000.

            Refund will be processed within 7 days of booking date.

            Refund will be processed in the same credit card/debit card account through which the payment is made.

            The base fare of the tickets booked will be refunded to the winners, however the tax and other surcharges will not be refunded.

            The passenger will not be eligible for refunds if any of the above said condition is not met (for example deal code is not written properly, date/s are not matched, etc)

            In the event the winner has not received the refund within 7 days from the booking date, he/she can raise a claim within one month from the date of expiry of 7 days. If the winner fails to claim the refund within the specified time period, MakeMyTrip shall not be liable to pay the refund.

            If there is any rescheduling, customer has to bear the fare difference (regardless of whether the component is in the base fare or in tax + surcharge) and other rescheduling fees.

            Cancellation is permitted as per below:

            1.  If cancelled ticket base fare is below Rs. 250, in this case, the amount returned will be Tax + surcharges – (250 – base fare) - cancellation fees

            2.  If cancelled ticket base fare is between 250 and 1000 (lower and upper caps), in this case, the amount returned will be Tax + surcharges – cancellation fees

            3.  If cancelled ticket base fare is above 1000, in this case, the amount returned will be Tax + surcharges + (base fare – 1000) – cancellation fees

            MakeMyTrip reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice.

            In addition, the general tour/ticketing conditions will apply as mentioned in MakeMyTrip user agreement.

            Participants agree that that they have no objection to his/her name being posted as aforesaid.

            MakeMyTrip is the sole authority for interpretation of these terms.

            The maximum liability of MakeMyTrip in the event of any claim arising out of this offer shall not exceed the value of the base fare to which the claim relates. MakeMyTrip cannot be held liable for any act and omission attributable to force majeure events.

            MakeMyTrip shall not be liable to for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the offer.

            Disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with or as a result of above offers or otherwise relating hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals in Delhi only, irrespective of whether courts / tribunals in other areas have concurrent or similar jurisdiction.
