Bus Booking:
Customer makes a booking for bus online on www.makemytrip.com
Customer has to put the Promo Code "HDFCTRAVEL" online while making the booking

Terms and Conditions
This offer is valid on HDFC Bank credit cards and any such credit cards issued by HDFC Bank in India for purchases made on the travel services portal or at the given customer services phone numbers of MakeMyTrip (India) Pvt. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as MMT).
The 5X Reward Points offer is not valid on HDFC Bank Value Plus, Idea Gold, Idea Silver, Health Plus, Business Gold & Corporate Credit Cards.
The cardholder will be required to make payment as per the price quoted by MMT on www.makemytrip.com (MMT website) or at telebooking centre, without considering the cash back benefit, for any travel service purchase.
Within 15 working days following the date of such purchase, MMT will process a credit transaction for the cash back amount on to the customer's card account.
The cash back shall be credited to the same credit card as was used for the purpose of making the purchase and will be reflected in the monthly credit card statement.
If the cardholder cancels the travel service purchase after the cash back amount is credited, MMT will refund the purchase price after deducting the cash back amount and any other applicable cancellation charges/penalty. E.g. If a cardholder has paid Rs.10,000 (price quoted) for a travel service on the MMT website and a cash back of Rs.1,000 has been credited to the cardholders account, the net amount paid by the cardholder is Rs.9,000. Thus, if the cardholder cancels the booking, MMT will deduct the cancellation charge/penalty from Rs.9,000 and the balance amount will be credited to the cardholder's account.
The cash back will be applicable on the base fare (excluding taxes) or amount charged on the credit card, whichever is lower. All taxes including Airport taxes, Visa charges, high season surcharge are payable by the customer and are not part of the cash back offer.
International Fight offer is not valid on destinations like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka. The Rs.1000 cashback is per ticket.
The cashback will be calculated on each booking ID and not on number of transactions. So if a customer pays in 2 installments/transactions for 1 booking ID, the cashback will be calculated basis the base amount or card charged amount (whichever is lower) of the booking ID.
On bus bookings, the customer will get 10% cashback or Rs.150 (whichever is lower) per transaction. Customer can make maximum of 3 bus transactions per card per month to avail the offer. Any bus transaction more than 3 per card per month, will not be eligible for the offer.
The cash back benefit cannot be combined with any other promotional benefit offered for bookings on MMT, except in scenarios where the other benefit is not funded by MMT.
To avail the offers, enter/mention the promo code "HDFCTRAVEL" at the time of booking.
Prior to using the MMT website, the cardholder should read and understand the User Agreement of the said website and proceed to make purchases only if the cardholder agrees to abide by the same. The cardholder shall be required to give personal information and credit card details online for the tickets purchased on www.makemytrip.com. The cardholder should read and understand the Privacy policy for the MMT website, prior to providing such information.
HDFC Bank cardholders who are Travel Agents by occupation, are barred from buying tickets for their customers using their own HDFC Bank credit cards. MMT reserves the right to cancel such tickets if such a case comes to the notice of MMT.
The maximum cash back amount per booking ID cannot exceed Rs.5,000.
The cardholder can obtain a maximum cash back amount of Rs.20,000 p.a
HDFC Bank is not making these offers and neither warrants nor guarantees the delivery, quality, merchantability or suitability of products/services availed of by the HDFC Bank Credit Card members under this offer and the member shall be solely responsible for all effects and consequences therefrom.
Any disputes as regards delivery, quality, merchantability or suitability of products/services availed of under this offer must be strictly addressed by the HDFC Bank Credit Card members in writing to MMT directly and HDFC Bank will not entertain any communication in this regard.
HDFC Bank shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever or for any personal injury that may be suffered, by a HDFC Bank Credit Card member, directly or indirectly, by use or non-use of products/services availed of under this offer.
HDFC Bank and MakeMyTrip reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
Above offers is by way of a special offer for select HDFC Bank Credit Card members only and nothing contained herein shall prejudice or affect the terms and conditions of the card member agreement. The terms of the above offers shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the terms contained in the Card members Agreement.
All disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with or as a result of above offers or otherwise relating hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals in Chennai only, irrespective of whether courts / tribunals in other areas have concurrent or similar jurisdiction.
If the customer doesn't receive cashback amount, he/she can claim for the same with 3 months from the transaction date. In the event the customer fails to do so, he/she will not be eligible for the cashback amount.
