1 Nights/2 Days
Itinerary: Delhi – Amritsar - Delhi
Hundreds of thousands pilgrims visit Amritsar each year to pray at the Golden Temple or visit the many pre-independence memorials around the city. Named after the holy pool around the begilded Harmandir Sahib (or Golden Temple), Amritsar is equally important for the Jalianwallah Bagh or the witness the ceremonial changing of guard at the Wagah border.
Day 1: Delhi – Amritsar (by train)
A Yatra Representative will meet you at a pre-decided location (airport or you hotel) and accompany you in an air-conditioned vehicle to the railway station to board the Shatabdi Express train to Amritsar. On arrival in Amritsar at 1305 hours, you will be taken to your pre-booked hotel for your overnight stay.
In the evening, proceed to the Wagah Border (less than 30 kilometers from the city) between India and Pakistan, in an air-conditioned vehicle. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on all sightseeing tours mentioned in the itinerary. At Wagah Border, witness the ceremonial changing of guard, the march-past followed by the singing of national anthem and other patriotic songs.
