Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Wednesday - Aboard Palace on Wheels
After breakfast, you will be taken to Delhi Railway Station between 1530 and 1600 hours. Dinner will be served aboard the train. This luxury train takes you on a royal journey through the bygone era of erstwhile maharajas. The train has luxurious cabins carpeted wall-to-wall, two dining cars, a well-stocked bar and traditional Rajasthani hospitality. The furniture with inlaid motifs has been created specially for Palace on Wheels. You can choose from 14 fully air-conditioned deluxe saloons, each a combination of 4 twin bedded chambers with channel music, intercom, attached bathroom with a supply of hot and cold running water, shower and all modern comforts.

Day 2: Arrival in Jaipur
Enjoy a lavish breakfast onboard at 0730 hours. Further on, you will be taken on a sightseeing trip around Jaipur, followed by a stop for lunch. An English-speaking guide will accompany you on this tour. Enjoy a cultural show and dinner at Nahargarh Citadel, a former royal fort, or in Mansingh Hotel. The Jantar-Mantar Observatory still astonishes with the precision of its layout. Explore Palace of the Winds and appreciate its stone facade with an immense number of finely sculptured lattice panels. The Palace of Amber lies 12 kilometers from Jaipur and will be toured on an elephant back. Amber's rooms are famous for the variety of their decoration and the beautiful Hall of Mirrors. Spend the night on Palace of Wheels.

Day 3: Arrival in Jaisalmer
You will arrive in Jaisalmer at 0615. Tuck into a hearty breakfast onboard, followed by sightseeing in town. Lunch in the train or in a tourist bungalow. Further on, proceed to the cenotaphs of famous heroes and rulers, beautifully decorated with fine stonemasons work. Enjoy a camel ride on the undulating dunes and take back some wonderful pictures. Pause for dinner at the Moomal Tourist Bungalow, then on with the train to Jodhpur. Spend the night in the train.

Day 4: Arrival in Jodhpur
You will arrive in Jodhpur at 0800 hours. Dig into a scrumptious breakfast onboard. After which, set out sightseeing in the town. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Umaid Bhawan Palace Hotel, originally the Royal Palace of the Maharajas of Jodhpur. Your evening tea and dinner will be onboard. Jodhpur, the southernmost of the legendary cities of the desert, was built by Rao Jodha in 1459 on the advice of a hermit. Opposite the fort lies Jaswant Thada, a memorial made of white marble built in 1899 in the memory of Jaswant Singh

Day 5: Arrival in Sawai Madhopur / Chittor
AYou will arrive in Sawai Madhopur at 0400 hours. After breakfast, travel to Ranthambhore (about 14 kilometers) to the well-known game park, home to tigers and leopards, besides a great variety of wildlife such as crocodiles, deer, gazelles, nilgais and hyenas. After a memorable wildlife safari, enjoy a delicious lunch onboard at 1300 hours. You will arrive in Chittaurgarh at 1530 hours. Further on, take a guided sightseeing tour of Chittorgarh Fort. The fort perched on a 180-meter-high hill, was the strongest of the Rajput forts. The tall and finely chiseled Victory Tower and the Tower of Fame are undamaged till today and shoot up into the sky from the surrounding ruins. Take your dinner onboard at 2000 hours.

Day 6: Chittorgarh - Udaipur
You will arrive in Udaipur at 0645 hours. Enjoy your breakfast onboard and continue in a coach to Lake Palace Hotel on Lake Pichola, originally the summer palace of the Maharana of Udaipur. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake and follow it up with a lavish lunch at Lake Palace Hotel. Udaipur was founded in 1559 on the banks of Lake Pichola by Maharana Udai Singh. Also visit Sahelion-Ki-bari, a pleasant park with four fountains and colorful flower beds. After sightseeing in Udaipur, enjoy your evening meal aboard the train.

Day 7: Arrival in Bharatpur - Agra
You will arrive in Bharatpur at 0700 hours. Breakfast will be served to you in Bharatpur bird sanctuary, followed by a boat trip. Further on, proceed in a coach to Fatehpur Sikri and Agra. Stop along the way for lunch. After sightseeing in Agra, enjoy a refreshing cup of tea at Taj Restaurant or onboard. Spend the night in Palace on Wheels.

Day 8: Wednesday – Arrival in Delhi
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast onboard. You will arrive in Delhi at 0730 hours. On arrival, you will be assisted to the international airport or any point in Delhi convenient to you for your onward journey.

- Half fare for children between 5 and 12 years of age
- Children below 5 years shall be allowed free

Tariff includes:
- Tariff is inclusive of travel/ catering/ conducted sightseeing/ entrance fee at monuments/ parks/ palaces/ cultural programs/ camel ride at Jaisalmer/ boat ride at Udaipur/ rickshaw ride at Bharatpur.

The Tariff does not include:
- Laundry, phone calls, camera fees, liquor and other items of personal nature
- Any hotel stay is not included in above rates

Booking Policy In case of individual travelers:
- 50% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
- Remaining 50% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
- Payment to be deposited in US$
