1 Nights/2 Days
About Haridwar & Rishikesh:
These two idyllic towns, located on the banks of the River Ganga, nestled calmly amidst the mighty Himalayas are a two of the holiest destinations for Hindus. These two town, separated by a small stretch of tree-covered highways are recommended for any quick break in the hills
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Delhi – Haridwar
Distance: 205 KMS, 4.5 hours drive
Upon arrival in Delhi, a Yatra Representative will meet you at the airport and assist your transfer to Haridwar. The 205 kilometre drive will take about 6 hours.

You will reach Haridwar by the afternoon, when you can visit various temples across the town. Then, proceed to Har ki Pauri, on the ghats of the cool waters of the River Ganga.

The ghats are well populated by locals and tourists, and several vendors dot the riverside selling an assortment of religious icons. Later witness the evening Aarti of the Holy River Ganga. This aarti is a beautiful ceremony in which deeyas (the oil lamps) are offered to God.

Then proceed to the hotel for your overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar - Rishikesh - Delhi
After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Rishikesh.

Known as the ‘Abode of Sages’, this little town is situated at the confluence of rivers Chandrabhaga and Ganga. Rishikesh is also the point of origin for the Char Dham Yatra. Now, the town is also popular among yoga and meditation enthusiasts.

In Rishikesh visit Laxman Jhula, a hanging bridge on the river. In Indian mythology, Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama crossed the Ganga with the help of a hanging bridge made of jute. While this present day bridge is made of sturdier metal, it is still a reminder of the adventurous crossing. Also visit Bharat Mandir, the oldest temple in Rishikesh, near the Triveni Ghat. This temple is dedicated to Bharat, the younger brother of Lord Ram.

We can also arrange for white water rafting, if the season is right.

In the afternoon, begin the return drive to Delhi for your onward journey.

- Standard check-in/check-out times at all hotels will be 12 noon.
